Generally I have a hard time with the end of the year. It’s like a perfect time to reflect on how much I haven’t gotten done with my life. This year is no different… but I’m also trying to take more inventory of the good stuff that has transpired. So with that said let’s have the top 10 things going into ’10:

10 – Kanye West impersonates ODB at the MTV awards… And instantly makes me a fan. Then gets embarrassed and disappears from the lime light. Give him a break – if you can’t get drunk off henny with Joe Jackson and whatever that strippers name is and act like a maniac at the MTV awards… then I don’t want to be a rap superstar.

9 – Tracy Morgan is making big money.

7 – Barak Obama… Still president. Not assasinated (except for his character). Still enjoying chicken.

6 – Drake got a record deal – you A&R guys should have listened to Ben Gaffin.

5 – Mastered roasting a whole chicken.

4 – Bally. That’s all. Well maybe alligator Ballys. Fingers crossed.

3 – The Clipse did something spectacular. Please see Clipse Popular Demand ft Cam ASAP.

2 – After 2 years of me being here, It only took Squishy a week to discover that the best Pioneer in the city is only 5 blocks away from my place. Yum

1- Tiger Woods reminded us all that no matter how much money you make, niggas still like chicken – ya feel me! Tiger, I eat chicken a lot. I can enjoy the finer foods as well. You know, tuna fish, duck, crackers, Swiss, bread.. I also wear expensive clothes. I’m like you. The thing is my man, I’ve learned a lot from eating so much chicken. I’ve learned that you can’t eat it everyday. It’s just not healthy. I’ve also learned that your fingers get greasy. They do. And if you happen to be wearing a Ralph Lauren button up or driving an escalade that day you’ll probably get it greasy. I guess what I’m trying to say is wash your hands. Well wash your hands and don’t act like you aren’t out sleeping with a bunch of hoes and cover for your wife when she chases you with a golf club and you wreck your escalade. Because if you cover for her then you look like a herb. A herb with a wrecked Escalade, upset sponsors and grease all over your Polo shirt. Just go wash your hands, delete the slags phone number and remember that you are the best at a white mans game… And if you need advice, seek the best – R Kelly.

It’s December 27, my birthday is in a few days. I’m going to Todd’s to fry some fresh wings. Yo’ Tiger and Barack, feel free to stop through, but can you pick up Yeezy on the way… And a bottle of Henny? Thanks.

To fry or not to fry?

I’ve had a momentary lapse in character but they say change is good. For the last couple of weeks I haven’t really had that much fried chicken but I did manage to perfect the cook time on oven roasted small chickens.

I did 2 this week and they both came out stellar!

4.5 lbs – 360 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes. Perfect juicy bird!

Squishy’s Bday Banquet

Well well… The stock market is way down and joblessness is at an all time high… What does that mean??? Niggas gotta eat on the cheap and food retailers know it.

Just last week you could get free el pollo loco, dominoes pizza, and even the amazing KGC. A couple months ago I got on a free lunch day and had a free Quiznos and 2 free Jack tacos. Both were horrible but promos gotta get eaten. But this last weekend’s deal really took the cake. I don’t know if every popeye’s is tryna’ eff with this deal…. Some how I know it’s not possible. Popeye’s located at Colorado and the 2 freeway is offering 2 piece dark for $.99 and 2 piece white for $1.99. For those who don’t know about chicken that means you can get totally full for less than 5 bills. If you order right you could feed you family for that much.

Lastly, they had this new shit “Cajun Sparkle”…. Pause. It was like zataran’s and lawry’s combined. I put it all over everything… Pause.

I know this deal will last a bit longer but don’t count on it for ever… Hurry Nigga RUN!!!

Now because of the major props El Pollo loco has been getting the old colonel I guess felt like he was in a pinch. Lame.

Anyhow, you know I wouldn’t be any interested in trying imposter chicken but the idiots at KGC mistook my order for 2 fried breasts and gave me this BS.

I’d like to close by saying that, though I haven’t tried it, but I gotta give credit to Popeyes for the naked chicken. They did it first KFC. At least you guys have firsts on that rap RnB chicken mixtape. I might have to bite you on that one.

I had chinese fried chicken wings on Monday at Tasty Garden in Monterey Park…. Forgot to photograph, and then last night I made chicken bacon rich boys… Like a po’ boy but with munster cheese. By either name it was effin’ bomb salami! Can’t say the same for the Chinese chicken checkers!! Sorry for the lack of photos.

Next time I am skipping the Chinese chicken and havin’ at some Popeyes Classic…. By any means necessary!!

I Believe In A President That Loves Chicken

There are a lot of reasons people have for not trusting this black president… I mean he likes basketball, smokes newports (black Chicago smoker=newports), and he even likes saying “nigga”… You could hear it in his voice. But as far as I’m concerned, the way he is diving into that fried wing with the hot sauce, collards and corn bread a waiting, totally makes up for the fact that he’s sitting with greasy ass Al Sharpton discussing the future of the black community as influenced by the KFC Pride 360 campaign.
